SMARTPHONE VIDEO PRODUCTION  WORKSHOP

Hi, Waiheke Community!

I'm running two smartphone video workshops in collaboration with Waiheke Cinema. The funds raised will go towards replacing equipment, with a goal of $10,000 for a new sound processor, which will need upgrading soon.

​

Workshop Dates: Both workshops are identical, so choose one unless you want extra practice.

📅 Workshop 1: Saturday, May 17

📅 Workshop 2: Saturday, May 31 (King’s Birthday Weekend)

⏰ Time: 9am - 1pm

​

📍 Venue: Waiheke Adult Learning at Artworks

​

💰 Cost: $90 per person. Each enrolment includes a free adult cinema voucher, effectively reducing the cost to about $73 per person. My corporate rate is $350 per person, so this is a great deal—all proceeds go directly to support Waiheke Cinema.

​

👥 Class Size: 10-15 people per workshop (max 15). A minimum of 10 participants is needed for each session to go ahead.

​

One of the great things about Waiheke Cinema is the local video clips shown before feature films. If you create a cool short video celebrating our community, there's a good chance the cinema will showcase it—if you're happy for them to!

​

Regardless, you'll gain valuable skills to document and celebrate your family, business, sports team, macramé circle—whatever you're passionate about!
