In occupied France, Jean Moulin works to unite fractured Resistance movements, while General Leclerc leads African soldiers against a far larger German force. The film draws upon Julian Jackson’s acclaimed biography A Certain Idea of France: The Life of Charles de Gaulle.
Simon Abkarian brings commanding presence and human complexity to the celebrated general, supported by Niels Schneider as Leclerc and Félix Kysyl as Moulin.
